Your account
Profile, password, email preferences, and deleting your account.
Your account is the login behind your Kards — one account, however many cards. It has three doors, "Continue with Google", "Continue with email" and "Email me a sign-in link" (Sign in with a link by email), and one account can use them all: sign in with Google using the address of an existing email account and the two link automatically, with nothing lost. The course on creating your account covers the sign-in page itself.
The Profile page
The Profile page shows your photo or initials, your name and email, and a "Member since" line, with links to Subscription, Email preferences and AI Agents. "Edit profile" changes "Your name" and your photo (JPEG, PNG, GIF or WebP, up to 5 MB); "Save profile" keeps them. Your team sees that name on the team page, on bookings you make and on invitations you send; without one, they see your email address. Signed in with Google, your Google photo shows until you choose one. The identity your visitors see (name, job title, photo) lives on each Kard and is edited there; see the course on name, job title and photo.
Your WhatsApp hello
Beside each contact, WhatsApp opens with a hello already written (Your contacts). The Profile page shows yours under "WhatsApp hello", as it reads for a sample person, with "Change". On "Edit profile", "Your WhatsApp hello" takes up to 500 characters with three blanks it fills in: {first_name} is their first name, {link} your Kard's link, and {event} the event you met them at; for anyone not met at one, the sentence with it is left out. Under "Start again from the default in", a button per language puts that language's default in, and the preview below says how it reads "For Sam, met at Expo 2026". Emptied, it goes back to the default. "Save profile" keeps it, for every contact on every Kard.
Changing your password
There is no in-app password change; the reset flow is the way. On the sign-in page, "Forgot password?" asks for your email and sends a "Reset your password" message. The link inside is valid for four hours and works once. Set the new password — eight characters or more — and you are signed straight back in.
The same flow gives a Google-first account a password: run it for your Google address, and from then on both doors work — Google and email sign-in on the same account. Rather not keep a password at all? A link by email signs you in without one.
Signing out
You stay signed in until you say otherwise. "Sign Out" is in the avatar menu, top right; it asks "Are you sure you want to log out?" before it acts.
Signing out — like resetting your password — signs you out of every device that remembered you, not only the one in your hand.
Emails, and leaving
Choose which emails you receive at /email-preferences — it is "Email preferences" in the avatar menu. Each category has its own switch; the course on emails from your card covers what each category contains and every way to switch them off. Transactional email — password resets, subscription confirmations — always arrives.
To delete your account and everything in it, open Delete your account (or ask in the app). We email a link to your account's address; once you confirm, the team deletes the account within 30 days. Team cards you hold stay with their team, without your details. For anything else about your data, write to hello@ekard.app.
