Emails from your card
New-contact alerts, the monthly report, milestones — and how to switch each off.
Your card writes home. Three kinds of ongoing email arrive without any setup — each exists to save you a trip to the dashboard, and each can be switched off on its own.
When someone shares their details
Each time a visitor completes the exchange on your card, an email brings you their details, with the contact attached as a vCard (.vcf) — ready to save straight to your phone. Where they left an email address, replying to the alert reaches them directly. The alert is per card and on by default: switch it under Kards → Settings, in the Notifications section (see the course on Kard settings).
The monthly report
On the 1st of each month, one email covers all your cards at once: the month's views and new contacts, card by card, set against the month before, with an "Open your analytics" link for each card. It arrives whether the month was loud or quiet — a flat month is worth knowing about too.
Milestones
When a card's total views reach 10, 25, 50, 100, 500 and then 1,000, a short note marks the moment — a line worth forwarding to whoever printed the first cards with you.
Switching them off
Each of these emails carries an unsubscribe link in its footer — it works straight from the email, no sign-in needed, and stops that category alone. Signed in, open the avatar menu and choose Email preferences: each category has its own switch, Save preferences applies your choices, and Unsubscribe from All stops every marketing email at once. New-contact alerts can also be silenced card by card from Settings, as above.
Transactional email — password resets, subscription confirmations — always arrives, whatever your preferences.
