A Status picture and greetings
Your name, photo and QR code as a picture for WhatsApp Status, Stories and chats, with a festival greeting or your own words. Free.
Your WhatsApp Status and Instagram Stories reach people who already know you. A picture made from your Kard puts your name, photo, job title and QR code there, in your Kard's colours, with the address under the code. Add a greeting and it's a festival card that saves your contact: "Happy Diwali", "Eid Mubarak", "Merry Christmas", "Happy New Year" or your own words. Free on every plan.
Make it
- Open Kards, pick a card, and on the Share tab press "Make my Status picture" (under "Status picture") or "Make a greeting" (under "Festival greeting"). Both open the same page.
- Under "Greeting", pick "No greeting", "Warm wishes", "Thank you", or a festival: Christmas, Diwali, Eid, Lunar New Year or New Year. Each comes with its own words, a greeting and a line under it; change either, in any language your Kard's letters are in, and press "Show my words". Emptying the line leaves it off; emptying the greeting brings back the festival's own. Press "Save my greeting" to keep it: the page opens with it next time, on any phone or computer you sign in on, and "Make a greeting" on the Share tab opens it first. Saving another greeting puts it in its place.
- Under "Shape", pick "For Status and Stories" (1080 × 1920, a phone's screen) or "Square, for chats" (1080 × 1080). Under "Colours", pick your Kard's colours, "Light", "Dark" or "Terracotta".
- Check the preview, then press "Share the picture" on a phone, or "Download the picture" anywhere.
On a Status-tall picture, the top and bottom stay clear of the bars, your name and the reply box that Status and Stories lay over a picture. The photo goes when it would make your words too small; a team Kard without a photo shows the team's logo when the team shows it on its Kards. A small "Made with eKard" line sits at the foot, as on the Kard's page; on a paid plan, hiding that line in Kard settings hides it here too (Kard settings).
Post it
- WhatsApp Status: tap "Share the picture", choose WhatsApp, then "My status". Your contacts see it for 24 hours.
- Instagram or Facebook Stories: tap "Share the picture", choose Instagram or Facebook, then "Story". On Instagram, a Link sticker with your link lets people tap through.
- A chat: tap "Share the picture", choose WhatsApp or any chat app, and pick who gets it. A greeting reads warmest with a line of your own.
- On a computer: "Download the picture" saves it; open the page on your phone to post a Status or a Story.
Someone looking at your Status on their phone can't point that phone's camera at its own screen. The page's "Copy link" puts your Kard's link on your clipboard for the caption, which opens your Kard in one tap; the code is for everyone else.
Each picture you get ticks "Send it in a chat" on Get your Kard seen. The code is your QR studio's (Your QR code), and the name, photo, job title and company come from Edit Kard: after changing them, make the picture again. If your Kard or your greeting uses letters the picture's fonts don't have, the page names them.
