A business with staff
Two or more people taking bookings: your Kard offers Anyone free beside each person, and a client who picks it gets whoever is free then. Or keep your Kard to your own bookings.
A salon with three stylists, a spa with two therapists, a clinic with a few practitioners: clients book the business, not only you. Once two or more people on your calendar take online bookings for a service on your booking page, your own Kard lets each client choose who they get, or take whoever is free. This course is for a calendar of your own with staff on it. On a team's calendar, each team Kard books its own person ("Book with Priya"), and the team's own Kard lets clients pick anyone free, as Take bookings from your Kard explains.
What a client sees
Once they've chosen what to book, your booking page asks "Choose a stylist" ("Choose a therapist" at a spa, "Choose a practitioner" at a clinic). "Anyone free" comes first, with "The most times to choose from" and the next time anyone is free. Then each person who does what they chose, with their photo or initials, their title, their price for this visit and their next free time. Someone who doesn't do it is named under the list: "Not listed here: Ravi, who doesn't do this service."
With "Anyone free", a time shows whenever someone who does that service is free. A person picked by name shows only their own times. The next free times under your Kard's Book button count everyone too.
Who they get
"Anyone free" books whoever is free at the time the client picks. When several people are, the one the client saw last time comes first, then whoever has the fewest booked minutes that day; the order of your Team list only settles a tie. The step where the client types their details already names who it's with, such as "with Meena Rao". If Meena is booked by someone else before the client confirms, another person free then, for the same length and price, takes the booking. It stays with that person: it's in their column on Today, and the confirmation names them, unless it's you, whose Kard it is.
Keep your Kard to your own bookings
Want your Kard to book only you, with your staff booked at the desk? Open Calendar → Team. Under "Booking from your Kard", a line says what's on now, such as "Clients pick a stylist or anyone free on your Kard." Switch on "Clients book only me from my Kard" ("Patients book only me from my Kard" at a clinic) and it reads "Clients book only you from your Kard.": every online booking from your Kard is with you, and only your free times show there. You can still book anyone on the team yourself. The switch saves as you flip it, and it shows once someone else is on the team; while you're the only one taking online bookings, your Kard books you either way.
The Team tab and your staff
A salon's, spa's or clinic's calendar has a Team tab from its first day, with "Add a stylist" at the top ("Add a therapist" at a spa, "Add a practitioner" at a clinic). The page says it plainly: "Each has their own hours, and nobody needs an account: a name is enough." Set each person's hours, services and price in Your team, and switch off "Takes online appointments" for anyone clients shouldn't book online: they leave the choice, and the desk can still book them.
Setup starts from your trade. A Kard made from the page for salons and spas opens setup on "Salon, barber, nails & beauty", saying "Picked for you: your Kard is set up for a salon or spa." (one made from the page for doctors and clinics opens on "Clinic, dental, physio & therapy"), and the starter menu asks which services to keep: Set up your calendar.
