Menus for restaurants

The Restaurant layout turns your documents into a menu rack.

A printed menu goes stale the day a dish or a price changes. A menu on your card does not: diners scan the code on the table, the menu opens in the browser — no app, no account — and a fresh scan gets whichever file you uploaded last.

Set the table

  1. Upload each menu — food, drinks, specials — to the card's Documents tab. PDFs and images both work; Attach documents has the steps.
  2. Open Settings → Layout, choose "Restaurant", then press "Save layout". Choose a layout tours all seven looks.

The public page dresses for the room — deep green, candlelight cream and brass, the photo in an arched frame. Your documents become the "Menus" section: each shows its preview, or a styled cover carrying the restaurant's name and the menu's title, the file type noted. With one document the hero offers "View the menu"; with several, "View the menus". "Call", "WhatsApp" and "Directions" chips sit close by, and with a payment ID on the card, guests settle up from the same page — "Pay the bill · UPI".

When the menu changes

Change the document's file, not the document. Open it from the Documents tab, press "Edit", then "Replace file": the link and the QR stay exactly as they were, and every code taped to a table keeps working. Each document carries its own QR — "Download QR" on its page — so print the menu's code once per table and let the kitchen change as often as it likes. Document links and QRs has the detail.
