Share your booking link
Your Instagram bio, Google Business Profile, WhatsApp, a QR at the counter, your own website: one link books you from anywhere. Single-use links book once or a few times, then stop.
Your booking link is your Kard's link with /book on the end, such as ekard.app/yourname/book, and it opens the same page as the Book button. Put it wherever clients already find you. The share kit gathers the main ways to do that on one page: open Calendar → Settings and, under the "Online booking" switch, choose "More ways to share: QR code, Instagram, Google, your website, single-use links". Setup ends on the same page. The share kit and single-use links are for admins; a front-desk login can't open Settings.
The link, and links to one person
"Copy link" copies it, and on a phone "Share…" opens your phone's share sheet. An organization's link belongs to its main Kard, so clients pick what they want first, then who and when. Under "Links to one person", each team member's Kard has a link of its own, "Book with Priya", which opens only that person's times: send it when someone asks for a particular person. Every Kard's own Booking tab shows that Kard's booking link too.
Instagram, Google and WhatsApp
- Instagram bio. Copy the link, then in Instagram go to Edit profile → Links → Add external link. Paste it and call it after your Book button, such as "Book appointment".
- Google Business Profile. The kit's steps: open your profile on Google and choose Edit profile, find Bookings, choose Add link and paste the link. People then see it as your booking link on Search and Maps.
- WhatsApp. "Share on WhatsApp" opens WhatsApp with a message ready, "You can now book with … online, any time", to send to clients or post as your status.
eKard doesn't connect to these services or post anything for you: the kit gives the steps, and you paste the link.
QR codes and your website
The kit's "QR code" is a plain code for your booking page, with "Download PNG" and "SVG", for the counter, a mirror, slides or a flyer. For a code in your Kard's own colours and logo, open the QR studio (Kards → your card → Share → Customize QR; for an organization's Kard, open the organization in the sidebar and press "Manage" beside the Kard): its "Scan to book" panel offers a second code in that design, labelled "Scan to book", that opens your booking page instead of your Kard.
Under "Your website", copy one of two snippets into your site:
- The booking page inside your page. Your booking page in a frame that grows and shrinks with it, so visitors book without leaving your site. The confirmation shows inside the frame, with a button that opens their own booking page.
- A "Book appointment" link that opens it in a pop-up. The link carries your Book button's words and opens the booking page on top of the page people are on. Style it like a button on your site. Without the script, it opens your booking page as an ordinary link.
"Try them here" lets you test both before pasting. Only the booking pages can sit inside another website; your Kard and each client's own booking page open on their own.
Single-use links
A single-use link books once, or a few times, then stops working: for a follow-up, a regular, or something you don't list publicly. Under "Single-use links", choose:
- "What it books": one service, or "Anything on the menu (they choose)". A link can book a service that is only for people with the link, or for the front desk only.
- "With": on a team, one person or "Anyone who does it".
- "Who it's for": a note for you, such as a name.
- "Uses", from "Once" to "10 times", and "Works for", from "1 day" to "No end date".
Press "Create link", then copy it or press "Send on WhatsApp". The list shows each link's uses and end date; delete one to stop it early. When a link is used up or expired, or its service or person is switched off, the client sees "This link can't be used", with ways to reach you. Cancelling a booking made with a link doesn't give its use back. You can also send one from a contact on your Kard: "Send booking link" makes a one-use link and opens WhatsApp or email with the message written.
